SIGNATURE CHEST POCKETS
Adorned with curved pockets, reminiscent of small boats, our SWANK line suits are expertly crafted to create the illusion of added height and provide The Modern Man flair.
HANDMADE LAPEL BUTTONHOLES
Milanese lapel buttonholes provide a unique finishing touch that requires intricate hand stitching. A small touch with a big impact – a signature of the Marquess Man.
SHOULDER PAD AND SLEEVE HEAD CONSTRUCTION
Creating the silhouette, the shoulder of a suit is a defining piece of the garment. We offer soft shoulders by default. Sitting along the side of the shoulder pad, the sleeve head patterns can be customised to your liking to ensure the ideal outline – be it a Weekender favourite in an unstructured /Neapolitan shoulder that follows the natural shoulder line, or a fuller or roped shoulder, typical of the Corporate Man.
ROLLING LAPEL
A natural rolling lapel is a tell-tale sign of a well-made suit and is distinguishable against the flat crease lapels of a standard, high-street jacket. The natural rolling lapel is crafted through intricate hand stitching and creates an effortless elegance.
INTERNAL LINING
The internal lining of a suit jacket adds structure, helps to regulate heat, and prevents creasing to ensure optimal comfort for all occasions. Our SWANK line’s default is straight inner-facing lining but depending on your intended style persona and season, you can opt for half-lined or unlined jackets as a practical icing to your new custom piece!
WAISTBAND CLOSURE AND EXTENSIONS
The waistband is critical to a seamless fit of your suit and defines the comfort of your garments. Waistband adjustment options, such as side buck adjusters, provide a slick and practical finish to your garments. Side button adjusters are best suited for celebratory Debonair-esque events, as they are understated, creating a cleaner waistband feel. Stylishly, you can go further with high-waisted waistbands, extended closures, Gurkhas and many more.
TROUSER PLEATS
Trouser pleats are pivotal for function and comfort. They discreetly create more room around the top of the trousers, with space to collapse, particularly useful for pocket areas. As well as these functional benefits, pleats add character to garments and can be customised to your exact preference and capture the essence of the Marquess Man you are, be it forward, reverse or box pleats.
